The existing office space of Van Wijnen Heerhugowaard required an extension, an upgrading of the existing office space and a new entrance.
This existing building consists of an office strip of two layers with a large empty hall behind, which was hardly used.

In our proposal, we moved the entrance to the empty hall, making it possible to create an impressive double-height entrance in the heart of the building.
By combining all the collective program, we created a vibrant and well-organized heart of the building.

To accentuate the new entrance, we made a canopy that extends from narrow to wide, guiding the visitor to the main entrance.
From the front desk you have a clear orientation with direct views to the restaurant with its terrace facing south.
